sorry. was re-living an arguement i had @ that yard, as i was writing that.

My dad and I call them Yard apes.

And we`ve all had those stupid arguments at the JY. Especially the "I need a black fuel door of a 99-07 classic GM truck" "We have one, but you have to buy the bed." "Is the bed damaged?" "It's got a Honda sized dent in it (no joke...)" "Well I don't want to buy a damaged bed, that's useless" "Well I'm not selling you just the door" "And Why not you lazy F........" and the sh*t hit the proverbial fan after that.

Needless to say I didn't get my fuel door and I'm still running this wannabe race car bento-box BS that I look oh so intelligent jamming the nozzle at the pumps into it because it doesn't fit properly and won't let me go full stream because the nozzle won't go into the filler hose all the way meaning it takes me twice as long to fill my truck up because it constantly trips the fill level sensor on the nozzle... *breathe*

ON Topic:

That's not a bad price on those hubs. If they'll back them up with a warranty then it may be worth it.

They back them with a 2 year warrenty, Will update when they wear out on how they respond to a warrenty claim.

Lol yard apes make me laugh. There is a junk yard close to my house where u can bring whatever u need in but that one is pretty small and the same blazers sit there for months... I used my jack to get the miluffler and tail pipe off one. But the good junk yard no power tools and no jacks... Most of the cars there are up on welded rims but half the time they just put the rims anywhere like the bravada i got the re end out of the rims were right underneith the spare tire so there was hardly and room...

So took my truck to get it alligned this morning and the guy tells me the allignment machine is broke... He coulda called and let me know so i didnt have to drive over there. So went home and messed around with my wheel that was giving me an issue. Took a look at it my upper ball joint was fried. The rivets and everything were gone it could spin freely. So went and got a moog ball joint slapped it on truck drives 100% better. Still mad about ntb and their allignment machine. If they didnt offer the 3 year warrenty i would never go there their customer service is terrible i would never let them actually fix anything on my truck after the put my hubs on. The abs wire was just freely hanging and got caught up in my cv axle so now i know why my abs light came back on... So take my advice and only go there for allignments take your business elsewhere for everything else...

sucks about the wasted trip, but better that you found that blown bj, and not them.

My dad owned a salvage yard. He's retired now, but I guess having full access to it spoiled me. "Hey dad, I'm gonna use the winch truck on such-and-such vehicle and turn it on its side so I can get to (insert part here) easier. "Ok, be sure to turn it back upright when you're finished". Ah, I miss those days.

I think they`re pretty badass. But you`d need some huge wheelspacers...

I'm thinking if I get those I could get a body lift and put some 33" tires. And my tires already stick out past my fenders so those new fenders should solve that problem. Just have to find some flares for the rear...
