the main problem is that its under my parents name, and they're getting pretty pissed that I take it through puddles and stuff. if it was up to me I'd be doing a V8 swap at this point

Yeah that's how my first car was because I wasn't old enough to put thebtitle in my name. They were pissed when I modded it and then blew it up. I wanted to swap mine while I was rebuilding, but there's hardly any room to work in there as it is lol

That sucks. But hey, why did you think you can make it throught? I wouldn't have Even attempted it without a snorkel and other waterproofing things...
Or maybe it went deeper suddenly?

Get those plugs out and get that oil drained. My maf screen saved my ***, but my blazer still swallowed some water. we pulled all the plugs, then ran the starter. Was able to limp home, to get oil changed. Still runs as good as it ever did.

Hope you get it taken care of.

Thats what im hoping will happen. And what happened was ive never went through this puddle before because there used to be all kinds of junk in it. But someone cleaned it all out and people were driving through it. I went in slowly to test how deep it was gonna be. Then i tried backing out but that didnt work so im like eh it cant be much deeper.... I was wrong

Gotta love those judgment calls..my favorite..that usally bites me..."how hard can it be"..lol.

I wont run factory airbox or cai anymore. Its like in a perfect spot to just keep sippin on puddles...lol. i refuse though to run a snorkel. So i have to figure something out this year.

well pulled the plugs, cranked it a whole lot of water came out. Took the old oil out of it there was a lot of water in there too. gonna let it sit for a day or two see if most of the water dries out. my retard friend was a dumbass and was pulling one of my plugs and broke the wire. so had to get a set of spark plug wires cost me $55... picked up some of that new vavloline oil the 50% recycled stuff gonna see how that works
