Building Something...Not Sure What Yet

You either need a Suburban or Dually, and you might as well go ahead and buy a transmission off craigslist and have it rebuilt and waiting.... because towing and loading the ol Blazer up like that, it won't last long.
It's a cool rig and I'm very impressed with what you've done, but these trucks aren't tough enough to work very hard. When I was looking for my Blazer, I made damn sure to find one that had never pulled a trailer of any kind so I didn't have to worry about tranny problems.

Well dammit, I ended up having to replace the passenger side rear caliper as well. It moved kind of hard when I was pushing the piston in but came out just fine when I pumped the brakes. Drove it around this morning and discovered it was stuck. $50 visit to advance and I have a complete caliper with bracket, bolt, crush washers, and clips and it's painted to boot.

Had to replace the battery, was having some trouble starting and only getting 10.6v off the battery when the truck wasn't running. Went with an optima yellow top.

Replaced the idler arm this weekend, much easier then I thought. Then with that confidence proceeded to try and do the pitman arm. I did get it out, but had to take it to a friends house who had airtools to remove it form the power steeringbox and put the new one on. Didn't have time to throw it all back together yet. Used all Moog parts.

Shackle Lift and TBar Crank, nothing crazy:

After:
Also the Blazer is no longer the tow/camping vehicle and is strictly a spare/off road vehicle, towing was handed of to this bad boy:

Just read this whole thread. I gotta say it looks pretty sick dude. I like a lot of the mods you have done to it. i definitely like your zombie response team sticker lol. I plan on doing lift shackles and a t bar crank after i replace my brake lines. They are looking pretty crusty. I'm going to probably do it with some of that new nickel alloy stuff that is extra flexible and also rust resistant. pretty sweet stuff IMO. I just have to find the time to knock it off the road for a couple days. By the way how bad was your alignment after the t-bar crank?

Thanks! I had it in for inspection right after the lift and crank and had it aligned so I'm not really sure.
