Hmmm similar likes.. I have a 2002 Blazer and a 1999 Contour

I'm tellin ya.. there's nothin better than a shade-tree mechanic.. (I was one before everything went computerized)..I hope that someone had a bar-b-q going for after all this work was done..

Those dirty rings!! Have you tried ring around the collar? Or Ring around the Motor?? Actually shows how much crap is in our gas.. residual carbon, oil and silicates..

I believe roller cams/lifters started back in the mid-late 80's for fuel economy.
