Fixin' the paint

Fixin' the paint
So I have begun to work on the body work that my blazer has been asking me to do since I got it.
Well this is what I'm starting with. The PO decided to do some body work themselves and ^this is what it turned out to be.
So far I've sanded down to the primer to remove the ugly "paint" on the door. I plan on re-primering and eventually painting the door back to the original two tone paint. Then I will move onto the bumpers.
I also removed the factory trailer hitch and trim for a cleaner look.
^That to This.

Bedliner for the bottoms of the doors/bumpers FTW!

I plan on it, though my funds are very limited at the moment. Eventually though.

Ok so I made some progress
Apperently I didn't take pics of the primer stage but you can see the primer on the upper door. Today I painted the bottom of the door with the black paint. The top will have to wait untill I get some GM paint to match. But it looks alot better IMO.

Ok so I went to auto zone for some pewter paint for the door and they don't carry it. I also checked O'rileys and they don't have it either. Does anyone know where I can get some so I can finish this project?

have you looked at duplicolor's perfect match series? they got some labeled for GM , just do a search online. I am thinking about going that route for my blazer due to sun fade.
