Man, i honestly look at your Jimmy everyday i love it!... i just ordered my 2.5 rough country lift kit 2 days ago cant wait to get to work! i have a 2 door jimmy plan on getting same rims and 31x10.5 tires ... any tips? by the looks of it ill be hacking quite a bit of fender off lol

You're going to love this kit! Yeah my 31x10.5 bfg fit great but i had to trim the front w my rotary tool. I want to trim more but never get around to it. I have 15x8 w 4.5" backspacing rock crawlers and with the trimming it rubs only when going at an angle into my steep driveway. So I just pull in tires straight lol so not sure if i could try a different backspacing or just trim more!
Since, ive had to replace both cv joints, both hubs, and the steering idler arm. my lower ball joints are going too. But I dont think the kit caused this stuff because the CV angles are great with the drop brackets. I think they just are all going since Im at 160k miles lol enjoy man!!!

 

Oh PS: It snowed all last night and the 4HI was fricken fun as hell! also kept it in 2HI for some ****ties snow pics soon everyone!!!!

 

More pictures would be awesome!! I should end up getting the kit tomorrow. Did you have to extend your abs wire at all?

 

Regular abs wire worked on mine with the RC lift.

 

Hey I love your Jimmy and doing the same to mine. Did you have any trouble removing the front diff to install new drop brackets?

Better late than never. Was going to get the 31's on it but blew my budget on a new transmission instead.
