Man it looks like we are following each other in what we do... I just replaced my mirrors and blower motor this past week! Speaking of the Blower motor did you end up getting the cover back on after you cut it off? Mine was in such bad shape I left it out.

mine had already been cut out before and replaced . so mine was a quick replacement.




looks like im going to have to do some more work. this truck is going to be brand new after i replace everything. yeesh. back down to getting 15.39 mpg 70/30 highway/city

getting a code saying misfire on 3rd cyclinder ..this is right after new plugs and wires cap and rotor. so maybe injector? who knows somethin more for me to tear into later. looks like CAI in my near future. and maybe some exhaust.:icon_hyper:

I need to get some HIDs but Im still fighting a misfire too. But I finaly got the ole Jimmy running right and I think I already know the cause of my misfire. Keep it up man. Im trying to basicly rebuild my truck and make it new agian as well.

i knew they were brighter and all. but OMG i love em!

fuel pump (i want the phantom gas gauge fixed)

the throttle body(ossibly a bigger one or maybe just teardown and complete cleaning)
EGR valve, (cleaned out already may just change to a new one)

fix hole in body (former owner had a spotlight mounted to door)

remove flex fan and go electric(dual)
high output alternator
red dash light conversion(saw it on tahoe forums)

any other ideas on some mileage boosting tips? this getting close to $4.00 a gallon is killing me.

I hear ya on gas prices brother. I got some of mine back after all the work I just did to mine. Next is a CAI and rebuild my exahust (its ghettorigged up right now) and hopefully thatll bring my mpg back up to where it belongs.

back from my 2200 mile trip!...... got 18.65 as my best mileage.. and 12.46 as my worst(missouri and its ozark hills.) i need to step up my mileage soon. since ill be driving 200 miles one day a week here soon.

i had 20 pages of articles to look at so i skimmed thru them real quick im still trying to play catch up with everything

blazer update, recharged my a/c since i havent replaced my vent selector i had a/c out of my defroster........ but i got to looking at my compressor im glad i got the stuff with leak detector in it. because its leaking right out of the middle of my clutch just barely so i probably just wasted the money on the cans but that ok. make the leak sealer in it will stop it. ...maybe.

another update just put money down money for a house. if you look on the picture it has the little icon on it and on left side of the picture right behind the house is the garage/ with extra room

and (also has plumbing for toilet and shower... but im going to have to add the actual toilet and shower..) in the garage area. i know its not much but it gets me out of my apartment and into a house and it has a shop on the back.
