KM346's SFA blazer (lots of pics)
those harbor freight grinders are such crap. i bought from there like 8 years ago and used the heck out of it, didnt have a insane amount of power but always worked. finally crapped out last year and bought one of those new ones and it burned up the brushes after like a good weeks worth of work.
there cheap sawzall is garbage too. i break it every other month or so

I can't stand HF power tools they always smell like they're gonna catch fire or something lol. Home Depot sells a Ryobi 4.5" with a rotating trigger grip handle for $40. It's kinda low on power (although still better than the 20-something-$ HF) but I've used it almost daily for a year now and even though I'm gonna need brushes in it pretty soon I'm really happy with it. I intend to get another before they get discontinued or get more expensive.
I only use it for medium duty sanding work though. I use DeWalts for most of my cutting/grinding or a Rigid 7" for heavy stuff.

Lol their tools do smell funny i never could figure out why...
I can't complain really... I spent like $15 on it two years ago and have beat the crap out of it. It took me all the way through the SAS without any issues till now... I think what started to kill it fast was using the cup wirebrush. Oh well.

CEL came on today to tell me its time for a new thermostat. Verified with my scantool, shes only running at about 180 parked, and drops down to the low 170's when moving... Of course I'm due for an inspection this month too. Picked up the t-stat tonight, will probably end up tossing it in this weekend.
