thx man u helped me alot i been researching alot and my last option was get my driveshaft lengthend ill see if i can find any extended cabs

Hey guys, today i upgraded to an ad244 alternator...

145 amp on left, 100 amp on right

Looks beefy!

don't mind my filthy engine bay, New England (specifically my state) salts the crap out of the roads and it gets everywhere.

In Saskatchewan Canada they spread this orange stuff on the roads, its some by product of the potash mines. Cleans off ice and snow like hot damn, but leaves this nasty white stuff allover your car.

Been daily driving the truck for a while now....

on monday i had it back in the garage for the first time in months.... bought some custom Alcan leaf springs for the rear, and swapped my transfer case to a 1st gen NP233. It has fixed yoke, 1.25" chain, and 4 planet gears instead of 3 like the late model cases (stronger). I measured for a front driveshaft too, should be 4x4 next week... finally!

Thanks guys

Gitch,
i think the alternator was ~$140 from autozone... but i was able to work out a deal because my other alt. was under warranty so i only ended up paying $20

I used a 96" dayco belt PN 5060960
