LOL yup.

I planned a camping / wheeling trip in NH with a couple buddies for next month. So i should have some pictures and video of it in action sometime soon. The spot were going isn't going to be too technical (pretty much a glorified sandpit) but i cant wait to see how she does in 4x4.

Well i got a front shaft in it!

Only thing is, now that the front output shaft is spinning all the time the t-case seems to be making a ton of noise... I think it may be one of the output shaft bearings, or possibly the planetary gears / bearing. Anyone else with SAS and np233/231 have a noisy case when in 2wd? Doesn't seem normal to me.

With the front running full time now, the front pinion angle is going to have to be perfect(pointing directly at the CV) or there will be vibrations. Even so there will most likely be slight harmonic vibrations with the mass of parts that are always spinning now. Warn makes(made?) a locking hub kit for the Dana 30. Another option may be the original CAD system(I can't believe I suggested that) if you aren't going to be too hard on it.

Pinion angle is good...
I took the shaft out and ran it in 4wd and it makes the same noise. Somethings wrong with the case...Looks like its time for a rebuild.

Or

i may just find a fixed output shaft for a 1" chain and swap it into my other case and use that...
