The plug in the picture is throwing me for a loop. Second guessing my wiring harness. The plug continued to the back of the truck can anyone identify what this one does?

Any help?

According to my 1999 service manual it looks to be connector C104 that connects to fuel system; fuel gauge, fuel pressure, canister vent etc. (see attached)

That was a fun scavenger hunt!

And on a more light-hearted note, whenever I see the subject of your thread I can't help but think of "Put a bird on it!" from Portlandia. LOL

Suspected it to be fuel or backup lights or something thanks. I’m twiddling my thumbs. Waiting on parts to come in I’ll make a parts list tonight.

Of course on a 3 day weekend still no oil pan!! I got headers, trans flex plate spacer, steering pump pulley.

So when I stick motor in no mods so far I’m hitting in several areas. I’m planning to address this today. Up at the firewall. Hits brake booster canister and hvac box. In the front of the engine bay I’m hitting the power steering box. Ahh I took AC completely off because it won’t work there no way without hitting frame. Another cup of coffee and I’ll get to work

There is a bracket that you can get that moves the a/c compressor up in the engine bay and away from the frame.

how funny mines white too, nice ride i wanted a xtreme but couldnt find one with a 5 speed or any with a 5 speed but the white one,ive never owned a white vehicle so its weird to me,hey dont have to wash it haha cool.i am still working out the bugs in my 6.0 cammed swap haha i'll be the first to say, nothing was easy on that project and i will never do it again.everything fought me every step of the way and still is.

at first i was going with the ac on the bottom but it takes a good bit of cutting the frame so when the engine flexes it wont hit,and plus if you ever need to work on the ac i had to losen motor mounts and jack up one side of the engine to get the bolts out so i got the bracket and relocated the ac,i went with ict billet, pretty cheap prices, super cool people.
are you going with rubber motor mounts or poly ? that will help you decide on headers real quick, and how much beating and banging metal to make sure nothing hits when you gas on it.
im no LS pro but i did the entire swap alone, except for the exhaust,i paid a guy to come over and screw that up for me.im not on here much but if you have any questions holler

Back to the dreaded wiring. Waiting on laptop to delete vats. I thought maybe if I hooked power up I would hear fuel pump but no I don’t. Does vats disable fuel pump? Lol omg electronics on inside of truck don’t turn off now. I have to post this mess just to show a messy headache
