well as I figured I would never see my wheels again... the shop they were supposed to be at is closed and no one seems to know what happened to my wheels, I have got the engine together minus the dist, I will be leaving to go to NY around the 21st so this is taking ALOT longer then I wanted it to, if all goes well I will be tearing the truck apart as soon as it warms up in NY and painting everything myself, I have some money tucked away for the MS fuel managment system but am going to wait till I am up there to order it since it would only be more stuff to move. I am also trying to figure out if I want to try to use the stock trans in the truck or if I want to replace it with a 700r4, the scary part to me is I have never programed a TCU or MS to control the 4L60E and am kind of terrified of it since the only trans programming I have ever done is on diesels

nope never seen step brothers...
well I am in NY and working, started getting paychecks and I got the lowering kit for my truck, 3" blocks rear and of course keys for the front. I will be ordering the MSll kit and building the computer and wiring harness while I collect parts for everything else (hopefully order it on monday), I still need a dist, oil pan and the motor mounts. also wondering will a 700r4 trans bolt up to the B&W 4472 transfer case or will I need to call advanced adapters? also anyone have any feedback on shocks for a lowered 4wd blazer? I am thinking maybe ground force but I dont know of anyone who has used them and not sure how they perform. I kinda want a stiff really stable feel (well anything would be better then the slushbox it is now) and also wanting to replace all the bushings/body mounts etc with urethane pieces. since I never did see my wheels again I have been looking for more and am thinking about the summit racing fast five in a 15x10 with maybe some 29x12 15 tires or close to that size. however the only tire I can find in that size is the mickey thompson, I have a problem spending that kind of money on tires when all I am going to do is burn them up anyway.

Just a suggestion. Typically, build threads are to chronicle your build. People don't typically look in here to answer questions. That's what the tech sections are for.

The BW4472 was offered in vehicles behind the 700R4.

yes I understand that. I was mearly letting people who are intrested know whats going on with this build and the questions I asked are for this build so I didnt see a problem asking since its a thread I started, sorry I will post elsewhere

oh and thank you for the info on the transfer case, I did not know it was used behind the 700R4
