Looky What I Helped My Brother Build...
I havent had my rear sway bar on my truck for about 3 months and the only time i can tell its not there is when I have a long circle on ramp to a highway. But for me i can deal with a little body roll, and you have better articulation with out it. And i also made my front sway bar disconnectable for when I do some major offroading so i can get the most out of my IFS. Try driving with out the tront sway bar and then you will know the meaning of body roll.

On the handling....I'm just making a quick disconnect for the rear sway bar too. I unhooked it and I felt a difference even with ES bushings up front. It wasn't much, but I'm an old autocrosser so even in the taller Jimmy....I still try to take turns hard (all things being relative). I'm using a small clevis pin to quick-disconnect one rear sway bar link to free things up. It's not trail-tested yet, but that is coming.
haha I broke my sway bar mounts 4 wheeling too. I had a screw rigged in it for a while then finally decided just to take the whole thing off.
Welp, we built another one for a guy out of state this past weekend. It is exactly the same, but is about 2" lower than the on on my brother's and allows for the full sized spare to still be mounted underneath and lowered. Here is the finished product:

Mind you, my brother's fenders are cut higher than needed to accommodate his bumper. The buyer will cut the fenders to fit.
This one cost the buyer $250 plus shipping as is. (This one weighed 98 lbs and shipped to Kansas for $50)
It has come to my attention that there are virtually no after market bumpers for S-series trucks...Therefore, we might be building something similar to this for blazers as well as rock sliders for blazers...if there is large enough demand. We live in central Texas, and local pick ups are available. So let me know if you guys or anyone else is interested. We can pretty much fab up anything for an S-series truck being we own one of each body/frame style. I believe we are missing a first gen...We have no means to bend round tubing though. So if you don't like square tubing, sorry.
Let me know! naadomail@gmail.com

I love the whole truck, the bumpers are awesome and i love what your doing to it so far.
the only thing I see being wrong with the truck is the "ugly stick" lol the CB radio antenna is wayyy to close to the back rack and that would eventually burn up the cb radio from high SWR.
It would look and work much better if it was a mag mount on the roof or keep the fiberglass stick but mount it above the back rack away from metal.
I go four wheeling every weekend with my friends we all use cb's to keep in touch.
Some of my friends have the antenna mounted on the bumper, mounted behind the back window and there all to close to the frame.
They get about a mile out and i cant understand them. Im pushing 250 watts on low and people in 4 states could hear me.
Any rate the truck is awesome and keep bringing the pix
