ive been looking at doing the same but i have alot of highway driving im going to be doing and dont want to f*** myself with a crappy ride if i end up lifting it.

Thanks
I didn't notice a difference after I lifted mine. Maybe a little stiffer...but I think it might have been my imagination. The ride was much improved when I installed my shock absorbers. However, I was riding on the original ones and they were worn out to say the least. I have lifted mine, my wife's, and my brother's ZR2 truck with he same shackles and amount of torsion twisting. I have heard no complaints.

a blazer is going to have some body role even when it is stock height. it wasn't any different untill I took off my rear sway bar now it leans on turns

I put over-load springs on the rear of mine at the same time that I removed my rear sway bar and I cannot even tell that it's gone when I'm on the road.

I have heard of a lot of people pulling out the rear sway bar. What is gained from doing that?

it doesn't really help much with anything and the rear axle is a lot more flexible without it

Yeah, I can't tell any difference with my rear sway bar gone...pointless.

I havent had my rear sway bar on my truck for about 3 months and the only time i can tell its not there is when I have a long circle on ramp to a highway. But for me i can deal with a little body roll, and you have better articulation with out it. And i also made my front sway bar disconnectable for when I do some major offroading so i can get the most out of my IFS. Try driving with out the tront sway bar and then you will know the meaning of body roll.
