Thanks guys!

Bumper finally dried and I got it all put back together just now. Victory red would look much better IMO and I'll keep searching for a grill and bumper but for now, the black is better than the chrome.

Finally got a lock on my spare tire

Dude the black looks great on your blazer..I say better than if it was color matched red...I believe I have the same push bar as yours just gotta get the rust off it and beline it...also a tire swing.. I`m wondering though what have you got mounted in the tow hook location?

Bumper looks great once you tossed that bushguard on it!

Did you take the rubber lining off the vertical bars on the guard?

I'm diggin' the lights. The black on the front looks good enough to not even worry about finding a red bumper. It blends in with the brush guard and actually makes it look beefier.

So I got a call from state farm today to say that they're still processing the claim/estimate but they wanted to ask if I'd prefer to keep it or have it totaled out. I told her that unless I can get like $5k for it (which is extremely unlikely), I'd rather keep the truck. She said they'll try and finish processing everything and call back monday or tuesday

It's actually a tow bar (meant for towing it behind another vehicle) that I got from another member on here. The towhooks don't fit with my brushguard so I might add some d-shackles to it so that I have a good tow point. I intended for it to be an additional support for the brushguard but it's a little too narrow for that

No there's no lining on it. It was actually in pretty bad condition when I bought it with quite a few small dents along the sides of those vertical bars that I bent/hammered out. Some rubber strips would be nice to have but I've never seen anything like that for sale

I might have to get new plates and the current standard TX plates are horrible so I might get some custom ones.

Let me know your opinions

A

B

C

D

E

I will have a license plate frame that will cover the white borders. The last one looks kind of strange with the wavy border but with a black frame, E would effectively be a solid black plate

BLAZER isn't available, I'm still not sure what I'll put on the plates

Agreed. Kind of reminds me of poker for some reason though.
