Superbright
WLED-xHP5-PC: LED T10 Wedge Base Bulb w/ Twist Lock Socket
Options: WLED-BHP5-PC: Blue

Always remember the sockets!

I tried some cheaper LEDs earlier, I'm not sure there was a major difference in brightness, mostly because only 2 of the cheap ones (without the sockets) ended up working. The Superbright things don't seem to line up exactly with the contacts on the instrument panel but I'm not sure if that's me or them

Any ideas about paint colors would be appreciated. Some kind of gnarly silver or grey preferably. I was thinking about gunmetal or graphite until someone around here mentioned that gunmetal never looks good.

Thogert has the definitive thread on converting to LED here

But there are 6 lights in the main instrument section for illumination, not counting warning/turn/highbeams/etc.

Do you have any pictures of the light output with the front mounts on?

Huh, no. Didn't even think of that, even after seeing that everyone else does that with their new HIDs. I'll work on that.

i think i was the one that made the comment about gun metal. its more of an accent color. where are you looking to get it painted. at a big name shop or something like a maaco?

Do it myself, after I strip it down & prime. I think that would just confuse Maaco ... masking is pretty complicated to them.

If I can figure out how to replicate it, this is what I'd like to do.

Otherwise I'll just go with "graphite" (I think they call it)
