Well I finally got a chance to get back to the blazer, a few more rust spots cut out, and grill molding cleaned up and back on.
I hope to be finishing up the detail work in the next day or two, then get the new stuff welded in. Top has been patched and just finished with the primer coat, I'll hit it with some white in the morning then clear by evening.

Update:#1 (pictures aren't up yet, I have to go back through old threads and re-learn how to post pictures)
Ok so here I attempt, and there may be several post, just so I can get up and walk away for a few minutes and come back to posting:
So it's been over a year now, around the time of my last post the weather was just starting to turn to winter weather in the Pacific NW, and I had giant holes in the floor of my truck. So I brought it into the garage and realizing that it was probably not going to be driven for some time, I started breaking down the front end.
The hood was in good shape, just a little surface rust, it was never raised up by the front fenders, so there was no bow in it. Front fenders were toast, it was rusted around most of the mounting bolts, they were very un-useable. The front clip was gone also, entire bottom was just rotted away, the only part of the whole front end that was good was the wheel wells. Everything else was rusted out to much to be of use to any-one, so after removing all the parts(radiator, headlights, wiring harness, ect.) I decided to scrap the front clip and both front fenders.
Here's some pictures of the front end coming apart.
