Bah, its not a big deal, theres ******** everywhere. And theres nothing wrong with our trucks breaking down every month - cause we have about 1000 friends to ask online for some help!

Anyhow, here is exactly what I got and what I paid for it in keeping with this threads tradition.

$104.99 + 41.24 shipping - #543,84-94 Chevy S10 Blazer S15 Jimmy 3in Body Lift Kit (310332400533) All the parts needed for the body lift, doesnt come with bumper brackets though. Ill just mod the ones I have on the truck. Gonna have to figure something out to mount a rollpan on the *** end in the future.

$120.36 + 23.70 shipping - 3-2 Lift Kit 4X4 CHEVY GMC S10 S-10 JIMMY BLAZER SONOMA (310130038951)

$70.00 approx for a NUT KIT as well. Will be replacing the junkyard one that lasted about a year.

Not sure what the tires are going to cost, Im guessing 1500. But I will be getting five Hankook DynaPro M/T 31x10.50R15. I am going to try and find another wheel that matches mine for the spare. This will be my sixth set of Hankook tires in my life and they are great tires I will continue to have on my vehicles. I have had one set of Continental brand tires that liked getting separated and changed in. Hankook from now on for my rides.

Things I need to get:

A rear tire carrier - Yeah, I had one that I took off, I just have no idea where it is now... Ooops. I think it might have been taken by a homeless-scrap-metal-bike-with-trailer-guy harvesting my yard for a drink.

1.5" Wheel spacers... Anyone got a set or know somewhere I can get em cheap?

A couple long 4ga wires for the +/- leads for the amps.

Other stuff that still hasnt been done:

Install the rest of the Alpine gear - the amp rack, the subs, the IMPRINT system, and wire the amps to the battery...

Test the system that I know will ROCK!

Join the 6" high club

MT - I need about 20 feet x 2 of it (power/ground both to battery). Im thinking about ordering a whole spool of it, they are 150 feet, and including shipping its about 120 bucks... Im sure I can unload the excess on friends, or save it for when I do an Alpine system in my Alero too.

$49.04 - Darn duty charge on the body lift that showed up today... Was not too happy about that one, thats my most expensive duty charge by 2x ever... Had to pay it or they were gonna send it back to shipper tomorrow... I had to actually go into UPS and ask where my package was. Aparently the driver tried to deliver it 2 times, and I wasnt home, DUHHHH I WORK TOO DUMMY... I had left a sticky note on my door stating my phone number and that I would pay by CC over the phone if there was any charges... He left me a note that he doesnt have a company phone... I mean C'mon, Im a delivery guy too, thats when you use your damn truck radio to call your dispatcher - and have them phone me to get my CC info and take payment... Or text me with your own cell phone... Jeez lazy drivers.

So possibly this weekend me and my buddy will tackle the lifting of OHSOFLY.

I also ordered some decals for the rear glass. I got in silver the Alpine logo, the JL Audio symbol, and the Audyssey EQ emblem too. I know those are "steal me" stickers, but I have a garage so Im not too afraid of getting jacked, plus all my gear is bolted down from inside the wood structures to the truck, the EQ and stuff is all hidden, the speakers are riveted into the doors, and the faceplate comes off... I also got some other decals. I got some BLAZER ones to use as stencils for painting my factory wheels, and maybe for the trunk to replace the factory emblems locations. Theres a few other various ones that I dont know what to do with, but I do have a toolbox and locker they could go on too!

I am going to be re-doing the facotry wheels. I want black wheels, but I am going to highlight the lip edge, and the holes with silver and find some black wheelnuts. THEN Ill get some tires on them. No better time than now to do this job too since the wheels are loose and sitting in my garage.

OK, I got a few more things. The stickers I ordered online have mostly showed up. The BLAZER ones will be stencils for redoing the wheels, I had to get 2 sheets cause I need five to do five wheels. The large ones will be extras, maybe when she gets paint they will be stencils too. The punisher skulls are carbon fibre, and the guy threw in a set in blue chrome too. One carbon one for the blazer, and one for my work truck where truckers put their names... The 4-Play ones are for the blazer. Not sure where they are gonna go.

Looks like I gotta put in some sway bar bushings too. I think I have a set around here somewhere for it too, I should look back in my thread and see if I did get them so I dont waste time looking for them

Here she is sitting at factory height.

Frame clearance is 11+1/4 inches from frame to ground on all corners except the one with the low tire It should be 14+1/4 when done on the back, and 13+1/4 on the front.

And the fender clearance is 31 + 1/4 all around. When done it should be 37+1/4 rear, and 36+1/4 front.

Also going to remove the 2 front fenders that are rotten, all the fender flares will be scrapped for a fatter set (where can I get cool ones with the rivet edge look?) and I will be grinding out the corners to fit the larger tires. 35's if they will fit, or 33's if they wont.

Oh yeah, me and my buddy tackled the lifts this weekend... The shackles went on easy, only had to hammer out one bolt the rest came out easy cause I soaded em in SeaFoam penetrating spray.

The body bolts came undone easy with just a breaker bar. Kit looks simple enough. Instruction dont say anything about the straps that strap the cab to the frame in the back... I made a big boo-boo cause I only skimmed through the manuals - I took out all 12 bolts... So yeah, the back end shifted over to the right when I went to do the drivers side, I did get the front right started though. My one buddy wasnt enough to push it back over while I try and start the bolt... So we decided to leave it for now, Ill buy a second jack on the next weekend, and we drank beer instead.

I also ran into another problem... How do I get the damn tortion keys out with that second crossmember in the way??? I cant figure out how to move the one that the bars pass through so that I can get my 2jaw puller on the keys??? FML.

OK, so havent done anything since the last update but let her sit in the garage on stands. Might be a little more inclined to finish that suspention work this weekend BECAUSE....

I got her new wheels today! Purchased from Trucks Plus in Edmonton AB.

$1700.00 - 5 tires (Fierce Attitude - LT265/70 R17), 4 wheels (ULTRA model 185 - 17x8.5), 20 keyed locking nuts.

LT265/70R17 for a height of 31.8 inches. The tires are a cheap line put out by goodyear. I was unable to get a fifth wheel, so I will have to get a 17inch steelie for the spare, and a spare tire carrier. Might also see about getting a 5th matching rim on Ebay one day... Who knows.

They had all kinds of rims at the place I went to in Edmonton to buy them. I could have put 22s in chrome on for 1900 (have to tell a couple people I know about this place, wicked deals, like the magazine ads for package deals that I see, much cheaper than the local KalTire and Goodyear stores have)

I fell for this set as soon as I laid eyes on them, with the 10 holes, just like the factory wheels they are replacing, they just fit the truck perfect and retain a little of the stock feel. The sales guy has the same tires on his jacked chereokee and he likes them and says they are much quieter than they look on the road and he has over 20,000 on his and they still look like new too. Hopefully this noname tire set is a score and I wont be buying some hankooks in a year.
