Rex, mine are bushwhackers also. put the rear ones on with the door shut then cut them with a dremel.

They don't fit up front. The arch continues all the way down past the end of the fender. The first gen front fenders continue to be even with the back side of the fender which is why I think these might work for a first gen. the arch is also completely off for the fender as well. Bushwacker couldn't even tell me what they belong to with the information stamped on them!

Woo hoo, I've contributed lol

Looks good Rex.

I've hear shocks on an angle loose a lot of their effectiveness and I'm guess that's why you made the extra holes? I have no first hand experience with it though.

Yes you did Jam thanks again and thanks for the compliment.

Yes the shocks will lose a bit of effectiveness at an angle. When I was researching what the best setup would be I found a few angle vs %effective charts and I think I lost about 30-35% but I think I should be ok. I have them mounted on the inner most holes of the mount and have about 7" of up travel which is way more than I need so I will move them out when its not so hot out or I'm not so lazy lol! For now tho they seem to be working great or at least a lot better than no shocks in the rear! I'm gonna load the family up in it tonight and go for a drive and see how it does with some weight in the truck.

Picked up some steel for my next round of projects. I'll go against the norm and I'll start in the rear and work my way to the front!

I've got all the skids I can with the sfa

Got started on the rear bumper this afternoon. I think I'm where I want to be with it but I pulled it off to head home so I'll throw it on tomorrow and get a fresh look at it. The pics make it look a bit bulky but it's actually about an inch shorter than the factory bumper and a few inches shorter on the sides. If I didn't have the bl I would be able to make it 2" shorter but this is the best option in my opinion. Plus with not having the trailer hitch hanging down I'm gaining about 6" of clearance in the rear. I plan to build a receiver into it along with two clevis mounts for shackles. I also flipped my evap canister on its side and reattached it for more clearance. Let me know what you think anything you would change?
