Hey Rex, great thread and truck. I followed you here from S10 Forum. I will say I am a bit partial to the color scheme.

Saaaweeeettt!!! I've brought two new members to the forum in a week. If you had black wheels I would have mistaken that for my truck early on!! You will enjoy this forum insure of it!

Edit: just kidding it was 3 members in three days

My winter setup will be closer, looking at painting these wheels black.

Rex, you rox!
I've had several guys come up to me locally and mention they've seen my Blazer on BF. It would be a shame to put one of my Jeep club member decals on the Blazer.

HeyRex I just finally finished up my posi lock conversion! Did it the same exact way as you did except I had to drill a new hole in the firewall since I didn't have one anywhere near where yours was... Tested it out and it works great but my steering is trashed so it pulls it all over the place and snow plows even sometimes.. =( Another $250 DIY task is in my very near future if I want to use 4wd but I'm going to test it a little more realistically in a little bit, hoping for nothing too crazy.

Glad to hear you got it done! You will appreciate it when the time comes to use it.

Well I finally found a winch that I liked and was in the right price range for what I actually wanted to spend! I got a Warn M8000 on CL. The guy that owned it said he mounted it on his truck spooled it out to make sure it works and then never touched it again. I believe him from looking at the cable on it and the fact that it looks brand new. He also gave me his work address and cell # incase it doesn't work. Well it works cause of course I had to come straight back to my warehouse and test it out lol!

Its dirty but shouldn't it be! Oh and did I mention I only paid $300 for it

Nice score there! come to MN in the winter and get some use of that pulling people out for half of what it would cost for a tow truck. Chelsea and I do that with the jimmy and a tow rope, with a winch you could get people out of deep snow in ditches LOL
