alright figured i might as well start one actully even though i havnt done a WHOLE lot ive done alittle

lets start with the day i picked her up bought it from a women that couldnt drive it anymore due to a ...weight issue..so 1200 bucks and i had myself my first 4x4!!

after buying it i found out it had sat for almost 3 years (not good lol)

that same day i bought it i drove to work all pumped about my new ride only to findout AFTER work at about 1 am and 5 degrees above zero my alternator was shot...

next day i got it started again limped it into town replace the alternator

then i got my roof lights on and wired up with some new halogen high and low beams



then i tinted the front windows 20%


after that nothin really special happened besides some stickers and whatnot till july 4th 2011 ...it happened...following my grandpa to find some place to eat before my dad flew home we passed a place and went to turn around in a parking lot so i followed him around got back on the road went on the gas and she just reved...i lookded down to make sure i didnt bump it into netrual ..still in drive..shift down to 3rd..nothing 2nd 1st...nothing nothing...tranny was gone..not a clanck, crack. pop, or squeel ...just nothing...

so i had to park my loved blazer for about 6 months before i saved up enough money to have it fixed. and finally i got her back and running and as a treat to myself (tranny didnt cost as much as i thought) figured a little system in her was due


tinted taillights


the mistfit duels lasted about two months then a friend of mine needed some cash and had a JL 10 in for sale ..50 bucks later i had 2 12s and 1 10 lol my misfit system was complete with a 1600 watt amp she would rattle your brain pretty good (not bad for staying under 300 bucks for all of it haha)


but...then i decided to move to Washington state so i sold my misfit dues and amp and kept my 10in jl and my old 760 watt amp

my little going away mark lol


after driving from Minnesota to Washington in less then two days (averaged like 20 mpg too =) haha)

after finding aplace that would do a simple brake line on my blazer for under 700 dollars (thanks to cherryblazer) i was back on the road with my new 10K HIDs



well ...i got a job back in Minnesota so...i went back haha

hangout with my buddy and his girlfriend my buddy had the s10 with the chopped front his girlfriends then mine


started debadging my truck


and took the wheel arches off painting them black along with the chrome strip on the bumper and the bowtie



before i got the trim back on my kinda folded my door up against the side of my shop door...was holding the bottom of the door with my foot and it slipped just as i was backing into the shop and...yaa..haha lots of cursing a tin of chew later i got it somewhat strait and able to close


with it all done

just some cheap LEDs i had from another car i sold i had laying around haha


becuse i had my switch for my roof lights on the open spot on my dash i decided to take the dermal out and fit both switched out but becuse on how i had the old switch i had to put some tape between the two to cover the hole..not the best work but i had to finish it up quick haha

the other switch is my sub shut off switch

then i cut the bowtie off the blazer decal and painted it black and moved it ...yes its not centered i know and it bugs me but it will work lol


retinted my taillights alittle darker and masked off the reverse light part (otherwise it gets hard to see)

Very nice! You should take the side steps off but other wise i like it!

 

im afraid to take them off becuse then you will REALLY see how little of a rocker panel i have left haha

 

Oh well I really like the tint up front I wanna do that to mine

ran new RCA wires and instaled my new kicker sub (running duel kickers now) and havin running to an old amp

 

alright its been awhile lol but i stock piled alittle money after working 60 hr weeks for 2 months lol just went out and got myself a new amp for my subs (800 watt pioneer) nothin to special but still some nice bang and...some "new" rims



hunting craigslist for some nice meaty 31/9.5/15s
yes i know they wont clear stock dont worry ive got a solution for that too....but thats for the next post lol

Lol I wish I could have seen it too...I totaled it on a icey bridge the day before I was getting new tire ....those rims still in the back seat....
