Actually glad I asked. They have a 250 amp ad244 for 277 shipped. I will probably be getting that one now.

Yeah when I did the ad244 conversion with a standard ad244 from a silverado last week, I got a new belt for a 97 blazer since it came standard with a ad244 on the 4.3L. Made getting the right size belt a lot easier. So since I wont have many (less then 200) before I get that new alt, i should be good reusing that belt.

Okay, Finally back to working on the truck, Have had a couple funerals to go to for a couple of my friends that were KIA while serving in the Army. Been a rough couple weeks focusing on anything other then that stuff. Goal for this week is to get the rest of the interior actually installed and the seat back into the truck. And to put the dash back together

Got the rear panels deadened and installed. Probably would've helped if GM had installed all of the clips to begin with. Oh well. Drivers side door deadened, passenger side should be done soon, drivers seat is dismantled to patch the seat up and get it welded up since the lumbar bars broke off on the back. Then interior should be done and its on to the actually stereo install

Driver's seat cover went in today for repair at Shelby Trim. I need to get a couple Pics up to show what progress I have completed so far. Big Three hopefully goes in tomorrow.

Wait, there is a place locally that does seat repair? I need to get my driver seat re-cushioned and such. Anything, special they do? my buddy wants to get custom work done like black leather surround with red inserts

Shelby Trim

Dont know how much it will cost to do all that stuff. Cost me 95 bucks to get my drivers seat bottom repaired but thats still cheaper than buying a new one and find a black one from a power driver seat with lumbar support has been a pain in the butt

So got the seat cover back today WOW they did an awesome job. I need to clean the rest of the seat now though because they section they repaired looks that much better than the rest of it.
