ok another update.
hopefully they are gonna be issued faster as i wrap this up.

ok, so as of right now i had one more mod jump out at me, and i figured since it wouldnt add alot of cost or time i went for it.

the windstar upper intake swap...looks like i should be able to pull this one off along the way.

so some engine pics.

that is the intake in place..i have to mock up some brackets and relocate some items.

engine after two days of scrubbing. i found that brake cleaner works better then anything. and a little wire wheeling to get the surface rust.

and finally some paint.

i went with a mid sixties ford red from the original mustang v6's, why??
i like red and black.

i have alot more pics in the album of the detail work...i figure if you wanna look its there.

i am on vaca in two weeks...i hope i have my toy up and running by then.

i ALMOST drove her today....i have to check starter...it not getting power or is shot.
it is most likely a wire issue...the starter only has a couple of years on it.

thanks gio

its been 20 years since i did anything like this...that was my old 69 gto i had thru highschool and early 30's

its nice to be building again. i dont like the headaches but the challenge is fun. its like doing a puzzle without pictures. i had some brackets i fabbed that went thru two or three versions. then i finally got my brain back and started with cardboard mock ups.
