So i received my 3" lift shackles from eBay today...here's what ive done so far...

What they look like....

Comparison to the old...

Left side shackle fully installed without any major problems...

Well it wouldn't be a good project if something didn't go wrong and cause problems....so on the right side i had quite a few. My first problem was getting the upper bolt out...i successfully put a hole in the gas tank to get it out (it was almost empty so nothing came out...i patched it with epoxy and duct tape...) so i had the top off now for the bottom well the bottom is completely frozen inside the bushing...i figured cutting the old shackle in half might help, so i took to the hack saw since the saw's'all was dead. well that didn't help and no matter how much bashing and prying i did it wouldn't come free...so i decided heating it with a propane torch to no avail...so i grabbed the penetrating oil and thats where it sits right now....

This is how its sitting right now after the TBar crank and one of the shackles without being jacked up

Let me know what y'all think so far, also any suggestions for freeing up those bolts

Well everybody today i finished my lift on my truck and it is looking great. I ended up running out to my local advanced auto parts and getting new bushings, but in order to get the old ones out i had to drill out the rubber and bash them till they fell out (torching them wasn't working). Here some pics...

Also, some daytime pics of the lights i installed

Let me know what y'all think
