anyways, today we took the top off. exact quote from my buddy

"he dude it looks way better with its off. everything looks better with its top off"

got the tailgate down and apart. motor will run but gets to a point and stops. either something isn't tracking right or the motor is weak. going to quincy tomorrow after work to pic up new fuel gauge, brake pedal, & hopefully a radio,

those old scottsdale were a nice truck, a guy i work with has one he restored. old trucks look alot better then the new ones

while i really like the new Suburban's & Yukon's, there's just something i luv about my '90 'Burb, besides the fact that she's rust free.

2nd & 3rd gen LB's, crew cab duallies, 'Burb's all look good-especially when they're laid out!

 

went back to quincy for more parts after work today. picked up a clear cover for the gauges, brake pedal, turn signal idicator lenses, and a chevy hood ornament for $5, (check out the hood ornament at lmc, same thing $160, just for the ornament), hoping to get this wiring mess sorted out this week, workin on getting the diagrams, i have the harnesses but just have to figure all of what i have and if im gonna need anything else.

 

snow day today so i couldn't get into the shop. i repainted that hood ornament silver and taped off the chevy emblem. my other blazer now has a 4wd problem so i'll probably work on that instead of my k5.

 

anyone know if a gmc suburban tailgate would "bolt up" to the k5 spot for a tailgate. im gonna try to save mine but im keeping all options open.
