Project: Road Warrior (lots of pics)
Well.. The Blazer is going to stay parked for a few days.. My hard starting has been getting worse along with the idle, so today i looked down the TB and just from what i could see all of the area surrounding injector #1 was gold and shiny. Not even going to bother with a pressure test i already ordered the new upgraded spider. Should be here by Friday hopefully.
I also checked my oil and it seemed about a half court low.. But it doesnt burn a drop nor does it leak any on the ground. So i believe my accuracy in checking the oil was the problem.

So i have been holding out on you guys... Over the weekend i was walking through pick in pull and saw new looking Chevy 63's on a Silverado and got a wild hair then decided to get them and make a bastard pack with mine because my truck was starting to sag bad.
So i took the second longest leaf from the 63's and cut some off to go under my longest leaf almost to the ends to support it all, then under that i put my second longest leaf then under that i put the third longest leaf out of the 63's which i had to cut some off of both ends to fit. And i removed my overload spring because it did nothing. so now instead of having 3 leafs each side supporting me i have 4 with two new ones and boy did it make a HUGE difference.
I measured my fender lip height from the ground before and it was 34" both sides then after the new pack they are at 38" off the ground. so that gave me 4" of lift! and i cranked the torsion bars about 1.5" and the back now sits about an inch higher than the front which i like.
So here is a before picture

After but before a wash lol

Washed

heres the only picture of the leafs i have

Over all im extremely happy with how it turned out, i think the flex in the back is perfect. Those leafs support my truck really well but are still super soft. My truck doesnt float all over the road when i hit a bump and now i actually sit above most cars

Another update. Got the first side piece bent last night which was the hardest because we had to guess and check so much and there are 2 bends going in different directions. Idk how high up on the middle piece i want it to go, i still have room for adjusting but i kind of like how it is in the picture. i think it will look pretty bad *** when done!
