what did you do with your old rims?

Thanks! Im really liking it now that its almost done. not too bad for my first welding/design project.
Right now im in the process of selling them. People keep wanting to see them then bailing lol
Got the high lift brackets done (besides being painted)

Put a quick release pin through the center with a string attached to the clip to get it out fast

I was going to just weld onto the roof rack but i wanted to be able to remove it later so i just bolted two plates together and welded the L bracket on the front plate

Thanks! and yes i will get around to doing a write up on it hopefully by the end of the month. It really wouldnt be a write up but more of a dimensions posting with important tips.
And i just went and bought a cheap 90 amp HF welder to learn with. i thought it was going to be a piece of crap but it actually performed really well and had no problems getting deep penetration on the 1/4" steel. definitely worth the 100$ price tag.

thats good to see...i also have the HF special...just forgot to buy the bag 'o skills while i was there.
i am getting better...i guess a bumper would be great practice.
right now my stang is still on my wallet like a leech. almost ready to cut her off and do a winter project.
dimensions would be great...hard to drive daily driver while test fitting bumpers every day or so.

The one problem i am going to have with posting dimensions is, on some of the pieces i cut both ends at an angle to make it fit so if someone just goes by the dimensions they will end up with a square (or not the right shape) So obviously you will have to keep cutting card board pieces and fitting them and use my measurements as a general guide.
