Lightbulb 4.3 stroker or just a cam

Hi I am currently in the process of changing motors in my 1995 blazer 4.3. I purchased a long block from the junk yard for 400 bucks (hope it runs) to replace my motor because one day i lost all oil pressure and i believe it chewed up a bearing somewhere. Anyways i plan on rebuilding the original motor while im running around with the motor from the junk yard. So with the rebuild in mind im wanting to build it better, more power. Thought of just a cam and maybe port and polish the heads, but then the idea of going with a stroker kit and going with a slightly above stock cam came to mind. My BIG question is if i go that far how would the computer react?? I did think about putting a 5.3 liter in it but i think i would be much happier with the 4.3 plus i hear there is some modifications involved with doing that in a four wheel drive due to the front diff. also i plan on using my blazer as a daily driver so i don't want to go crazy with the rebuild.
Any Thoughts??????
