a/c removal

RE: a/c removal
For the time being, you could just leave the compressor in (lines all disconnected) and it shouldn't provide any more drag on the engine than a pulley would. When the A/C compressor clutch is disengaged (unless the bearing on the nose is froze up or otherwise damaged) it will act just like a normal pulley.

Ya maybe ill just do that for now until i can find the pulley for blazers w/o a/c.

RE: a/c removal
You'd have to ask them for the drivers side top pulley for a say... '98 S10 4.3L without A/C. You've got to give them only the information that they need, LOL.

RE: a/c removal
(Sorry wrong place I have reposted in general tech help)
Hi,
I know this post is old but I do have 1 question about a/c removal:
After I remove the a/c and put the bypass pulley in what do I do with the hoses that are connected to the a/c can I just leave them there and put a tierap or I need a special cover for it?
Thanks
AJ
