Info about blazers. . .
Aaron,
You are correct about the H.O.for Blazers/Jimmys/Bravadas & Safaris/Astros. This engine appeared in 1992 and 1993 and was a W code used a balance shaft, roller cam shaft, different heads, and Central Port Injection as well as all H.O. trucks came with a larger diameter Y pipe! Want to hear a shocking thing. All this better technology all derived off the 262 v6 marine motor engineers! I got lots of good info about H.O. and 262 V6 CPI MPI TBI Holley Vortec Typhoon/Syclone motors. I used to have a '98 S10 SS with a Stepside bed and was way too into cars at the time. Anyways, through that time period I did my homework on the 4.3L Vortec Motors!
