Default Parts for 95 CMI (W) engines

I would like to hear from others with the same engine to know what mods are available and realistic. So far I have done my exhaust from the Y pipe back. This weekend I'm going to hunt down the 96 Ford Taurus electric fan. I want a cold air intake but can't seem to find one for my model. I want to know what other sensible mods are available to me before I send in my PCM to be optimized.

Please only respond to this if you actually have done the mod. We have to many dreamers lately putting up post with no validation. I hate to sound rude but we need to keep the integrity of this forum!

Well for starters it is not CMI its CPI (central port injection) and there is not really a whole lot you can do to it other than a few bolt on mods. Air intake, power pulleys, e-fan, computer chip, ignition upgrade or you could put some different gear in. I use to have a 94 s-10 with the CPI. I did all of those mods except the e-fan. You will notice a little bit of difference.

try www.truckperformance.com they have some stuff for the CPI engine. hope this helps some
