Default rough engine

i dont know what this could be or how to descibe it other then it sounds like i put a race cam in. but it doesnt do it all the time just every once in a while. the guy at work said it could be a cat. any ideas?

First off I would try to stop at an AutoZone or like part store to have it code checked

Second w/ Dynomax Bolt on Cat (Super Turbo) pending on when you installed this, I doubt it would be your cat if it was fine for at least 2 mths after you installed this.

Third I would have your Fuel PSI checked

It could be anything from a bad plug wire / bad injector / plug / fuel filter ect.... there have been many Q's about rough idle and such. Its best to start off with scanning for codes first. Then go from there.
