I am trying to replace my idler pulley. The bolt that is attached to the old one is locked on with a locking washer that I haven't seen before. I can't get it off! I'm going to go keep trying to no avail now.

I just pryed the hell out of that lock washer, then bent it back into shape and reused it. Man, my Blazer sounds so freaking smooth and quiet now! Didin't realize how bad I needed pulleys, the silence is beautiful.

On another note, I'm not sure if it was the right thing to do posting in a 2 year old thread. I just did it to try and minimise clutter and repetition in the forum. ...?
