Default SES light

Well for the past couple weeks my check engine light will go off and on intermittingly (sp) throughout the day. Sometimes its stays off for a whole day, and sometimes on for a whole day, like wtf [>:] i thought once the OBD-2 sets the code the 2nd time it stayed on till it was scanned and cleared??? Truck, 98 2door jimmy, seems to run fine, any ideas?

Could be anything. Please post the codes before you erase them.
