'00 Blazer oil leak
I took a look under my gf's Blazer and it looks like she has an oil leak. Doesn't seem to be from the simple oil pan gasket. Some pics are below. As you can see, it seems to be to the left of the drain plug. Anyone have any idea what needs to be replaced to fix this leak?

im experiencing the same thing right now i would check the valve cover gaskets oil pan gasket or look right behind and under neath the harmonic balencer thats what i did and i have replace all the gaskets but the one behind the h balencer and thats where im getting the oil leak from ( sorry 4 reply being so long)
My daughter gave me her '91 Blazer 4x4 whenshe got married. She bought it new and it is immaculate...except for a pesky oil leak. The so-called "mechanics" that she had look atit could not find the leak.
I immediately found the leak the second day I took possession of theSUV. It was the oil filler stack where it screws into the RH valve cover. Somereal bright employeeat a fast oil change establishment tried to twist the oil filler cap out of the oil filler stack and only succeeded in lunscrewingthe oil filler stack at the valve cover. Apparently he thought he broke the oil filler stackwhen that happened and only loosely screwed it back in.
I took 1-1/2 CW turn of the oil filler stack to tighten it and that stopped the leak.
