Default 00 Blazer Transmission Issue

Hey everyone,

So I bought a 2000 Chevy Blazer V6 2wd about 5 days ago. The transmission was taking a while shift from 1st to 2nd and from 2nd to third. The RPM's always seem way to high, so I decided to see if replacing the fluid and the filter and pan gasket would help out. I also added a bottle of Lucas Stop Slip with the new fluid.

After all that I took the blazer out for a drive and about 10 or 15 min into it the tranny slipped pretty bad from 2nd to 3rd this has happened a few times now.

Curious as to what could be causing this. Any ideas?

Thanks for any input everyone, it is very appreciated.
