Can someone confirm which year transmissions (4L60-E) are compatible with an 02 ZR2 (4x4 Auto)?

Are there any GM vehicle models to avoid when shopping for a used 4L60-E due to changes in transmission?

Digging around a bit it seems like any 98-02 4L60-E Auto 4x4 trans will work fine for my vehicle. But would be more content if someone could verify before I make a purchase on a used trans...

Other tips appreciated.

Some reading suggests the larger truck trans (Silverado, etc) has a different output/input shaft length.

Can someone verify whether or not I can use a Silverado trans or not.
