04 Blazer transmission problem...

What he thinks happened was: When he hit the pothole it made the computer trip out and shift into Safe Mode(3rd gear). It sat overnight and when he went to work the next day, it never did it again. So maybe it was the pothole? He removed the code andIF it happens again he will check the wires to see ifany areloose and/Or change the 4 shift cylanoids. Any suggestions?? Thanks for all your posts & help!

It definitely sounds like you fixed the P0758 code as you now have all forward gears. Here is the chart for a No Reverse or Slips in Reverse condition:
