Default 1995 Blazer Blinking Engine Light

Our 95 Blazer just had the egr replaced and now the service engine light blinks constantly.. It runs rough and acts like it's flooding . The codes have been cleared and it still does this.. It will start fine and idle but when you put it in gear and start to move it just goes haywire...And starts blinking.. My past experience with older vehicles with obd I when they would blink like that I would replace the ecm and problem solved but this one has me stumped ...Any ideas??? Would reflashing help? I'm new to the whole flashing process ..

IDK The shop says it has no codes and that it either needs flashed or a new ecm.. No $$$ for a dealer here..

Get a second opinion.

Does it have the OBD1 plug under the dash or the OBD2 plug? If it has the OBD2 plug, it could be the bastardized OBD1.5 setup which most shops have a difficult time reading.

take it to autozone and have it scanned, they use the Actron scanners that seem to be able to read the OBD 1.5 systems
