Thumbs up

Yes leave it in till your next change and then use again with every oil change afterwards.I have been using it in my vehicles for 25+ years.Never had any problems and you will have much higher oil pressure also.

Buy a can of 6 Cyl Engine Restore and pour it in. My tick was gone the same day. I put a can in every oil change.

I have the same problem with the ticking, I'll try some of these things to see if I can fix it.

I havent ever used the can of engine restore except in my old saturn I used to have,It had more issues than just ticking but it did seem to work well on quiting an old wore out engine that had over 200,000 miles on it.As for minor ticking issues the marvel msyter oil works fantastic. It keeps your engine cleaner while the other additives turn your fresh oil very blackish.

Can having too much oil in it cause this? The oil come up about a half inch past the full mark on the dipstick.

I would drain a bit. Normally it doesn't cause ticking, but it can cause other issues and power loss.
