Can anyone tell me what gaskets/filters/fluids i might need when i replace my transmission?

Assuming it is an auto- There is a gasket in between the tranny and t-case that will need to be replaced. I always replace the tranny oil filter/pan gasket at the same time as well. Make sure you find out if you have a deep or shallow tranny oil pan, and get the correct corresponding filter. dextron 3 automatic transmission fluid is what you will want.

It would also be a good time to check the fluid level in your t-case, and top it off if needed. If you have a 3 button(np233) it also uses dextron 3. if it's a 4 button(np236) you need a special gm blue autotrac fluid.
