2000 Blazer Won't Start
My Friend has a 2000 Blazer we use for a farm run around rig he let it sit a month or so and the battery was dead he jumped it and moved it into the yard it sat there probably 2 weeks, the battery was dead so I charged the battery. I can hear the fuel pump when turning the key to run and it fire and run for a second or 2 and die and crank and crank it will run off either if we spray it into the throttle body. He thought we should change the cap and rotor which I did but knew it wouldn't fix the issue which it didn't. What do you guys think could cause this? I watched a video on a 98 blazer doing the exact same thing and the guy said he changed the spider injector and it fixed the problem, does a 2000 have that also?

It should have spider assembly under the upper plenum. In my case, Jimmy wouldn't run without squirting spray in the throttle body. Even then was very rough. I replaced the spider assembly with an improved, aftermarket one from RockAuto and it fixed the issue. there is a pressure regulator built in to the unit that keeps the fuel pressure up after shutting off motor. When it goes bad, pressure bleeds off and is starved for fuel.
Took about 3 1/2 hours start to finish under a shade tree. Good luck.
