Default 2000 Chevy Blazer accelerates itself after start up

I have a problem with my 2000 Chevy Blazer after, I start it when the engine is cold, and shift out of park it accelerates by itself for like 5 - 10 seconds and this is not the usual little bit of acceleration you get all the time from vehicles. No this is the engine actually accelerating and I do not know what is causing it. It usually only happens when the engine is cold.

The Blazer is a 2000 with the 4.3L v6 auto RWD not 4x4 version if that helps...
