2001 4X4 Blazer trans help
I just installed atwo piece 4L60Ein a 2001 4x4 blazer. After I got done I put it back on the ground and put fluid in it and started it up. I let it run for about 10-15 min and then checked the fluid again. I got in and ran through the gears (keeping on the break) and all seemed well. It would change idle and seemed to go through all gears and then I went to back out of the garage and nothing. It seemed to go into reverse but I could get no movement and it reved like it had no load on it at all. I pushed it out to see if any forward gears would work and I put it in drive and nothing but when I slowly give it a little gas it will barely move forward but does not gain any momentem. Please let me know if there is anything I should look for. I didn't hear anyodd sounds at all. Thanks Matt

Did you install a new torque converter?

Yes it is a new TQ and the only thing I can think of is that my trasfer case is not enganging. Is there a way that these these transfercases can go to neutral? The buttons are not acting right. They will blink and go back and then all out and back on. I did spray all of the connections with wd40 when I put them back together. I am going to look into it more this weeked but would like something that I should really be looking for. I didn't know if I can pull the transfercase and see if the output shaft of the tranny is turning or what the deal is. Thanks Matt

Yes, you can get the transfer case to go to neutral by pressing two of the keys simultaneously (I forget which two, it's in the owner's manual), but the "neutral" led on the button panel should be lit if this is the case.
You could also block the front wheels and raise the rear so a tire is off the ground, see if the tire spins/changes direction when you shift forward, reverse to give you more info.
