Arrow Question about removing trans pan from a 2001 Blazer 4X4 LT

I just bought a pair of used ramps on craigslist for 20.00 and I put the blazer up on them before to see how much of a pain it is to change the tranny filter.

It doesn't look that bad...

BUT one question.

It looks like there is linkage and the linkage in held by a mount that is held with 2 bolts but one bold is above the cable.

how do I get to that bolt to get it off?

Thanks

Jim

I have just pushed the cable to one side before and used a 1/4" socket w/ extension. If that does not work, a crow's foot socket will get to it no problem.

Google.

It is a special socket (some call it a wrench) that basically looks like the end of a wrench, but has a square hole in it to be used with a ratchet.

There should be enough flexibility in the cable to move it out of the way to get a socket on that bolt. If not, you may have to loosen/remove the next bracket in line.

Just make sure you have a LARGE pan once the pan lets loose and you aren't laying underneath the pan.
