Just like the subject says. My blazer has too many problems and I'm not able to go and get a new vehicle. I found a 2000 blazer 4x4 with a bad trans. What is the possibility of removing the tailshaft housing off the 2wd and mating the transfer case without any mods or different driveshafts/yokes etc. I'm in a pickle and this is literally the only option I got or the else I'd say the hell with it! Please anyone with any info get a hold of me

 

You pretty much have to gut the transmission to swap the tail shaft to make a 2wd 4L60E into a 4wd 4L60E (and vice versa).
