4.3 Engines compatible with a 99 Blazer
I have a 99 Blazer that needs a new motor, what years are interchangeable?

As far as the motor itself goes, anything from 96 thru mid-02. If you find an engine from a 2002 model year, you need to make sure that it has an EGR valve. If it does not, you cannot use it.
