4 lo wont stay

Default 4 lo wont stay

when i put my truck in 4 lo it works its way out bit will stay in 4 hi, why is this?

Sounds like you have something out of adjustment with the shift linkage or a detent that is not engaging properly to hold the gear. Does it just slip even when driving on flat, even terrain (i.e. no bumps)?

ya just slips right out i have to hold it or i go into 4 hi
