I have a 94 blazer 4.3 w engine code. It shifts really hard from 1st to 2nd the gets squirly around 45mph, maybe slipping. I think it has a 4l60e in and but where Im at it cost a fortune for a used one and even more for a new one. I can find 700r4 all day long for 250 but not sure if it will work. Any ideas if it will work and what will i need to do to convert it

 

94 so it is a 4L60E transmission, basically the 4l60e is a new version of the 700r4 but the older one will not work you need the electronic version (4l60e) and yeah they aren't cheap by any stretch of the imagination.

 

500-600 hundred bucks rebuilt around here

 

Is there any other possible swap or just rebuild or rebuy
