I have a 94 s10 blazer 4.3 vortec "w" 4l60e tranny. Everything was working fine, then I had a leak of the front tranny seal. Dropped transmission, replaced seal and torque converter, new tranny filter and pan seal. No debris in pan at all. Put back together now wont shift into second gear. Starts fine in 1st and have to let off throttle to shift and goes directly into third. All other gears work fine. TPS is measuring fine. What else can it be?

 

vehicle speed sensor maybe? does your speedometer work? i have a 93 that i changed transfercases to a manual case and theres no where to plug in the vss and thats how my trans is. stays in first unless i red line it or manually shift it into second
